As you know, we are very consious of the safety of all children attending Kilgarvan School. Our school policy is to accompany children out of the classroom at the end of the school day and for parents to collect their child at the school gate.

Bus children will be brought to the school bus by their class teacher. However, we are aware that some children walk home on their own or walk to the Community Centre for art lessons. In order that each class teacher is aware of which pupils have parental permission to walk home/ art lessons, we ask that you write a note to the class teacher allowing your child to do so.
